Bear Prototyping is sole engineering shop founded by me, Sergei Grishin. I specialize in getting products to market. My passion is creating. While experiencing a rich and exciting engineering career, I always worked on my own personal engineering projects and businesses on the side. I made mistakes and learned a lot of lessons along the way. That's why I found Bear Prototyping, to share all of my skills and experience with others that are trying to build their dreams.

Bear Prototyping is a CAD design firm, a machine shop, a 3D printing shop, a 3D scanning service, and your one-on-one engineering consultant. No matter what stage your project is at, I can jump in and take it to the finish line. Refining products and their production processes after initial release is also part of my craft.

I work with individuals and Fortune 500 companies. I specialize in electro-mechanical assemblies, automotive components, consumer products, and general industry manufacturing.

I love working with clients that have new ideas and wants to see them brought to life. For some startups, I can be your entire engineering department. Even if you are an experienced, professional engineer, I can be there for you to ease the workload.

I leverage a network of fellow engineers and shops that I trust to cover areas that I am less versed in if a project requires. I am upfront and honest about projects that are outside of my scope, and this will be covered during the free initial consultation.
